Rolling into Fall Raffle – Official Rules

The Strike & Spare Club (“the Club”), a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization supporting the Columbia Bowling Teams, is conducting the Rolling into Fall Raffle in accordance with these Official Rules. By purchasing a raffle ticket, entrants agree to be bound by all terms and conditions listed below.

1. Raffle Period

  • The raffle begins on September 1, 2025, at 12:00 AM Central Time and ends on November 1, 2025, at 11:59 PM Central Time (“Raffle Period”).
  • All ticket sales must be completed by the end of the Raffle Period to be eligible.

2. Drawing

  • The drawing will be held on November 2, 2025.
  • The drawing will be conducted publicly and overseen by representatives of the Strike & Spare Club.
  • Winners will be selected at random from all eligible tickets.
  • Winners do not need to be present to win.

3. Eligibility

  • Open to individuals age 18 and older at the time of ticket purchase.
  • Tickets may only be purchased in compliance with applicable state and local laws.
  • Members of the Strike & Spare Club and their families are eligible unless prohibited by law.
  • By entering, participants confirm that they understand and agree to these rules without modification.

4. Tickets

  • Ticket price: $20 each.
  • Each ticket purchased represents one (1) entry into the raffle.
  • Tickets are non-refundable, non-transferable, and have no cash value beyond entry in this raffle.
  • Lost, stolen, or damaged tickets will not be replaced. Proof of purchase may be required.
  • Ticket holders must provide accurate contact information at purchase to receive notification if selected as a winner.

5. Prizes

  • Grand Prize: Two (2) Bowling Balls (combined value up to $350) and One (1) 3-Ball Bag (up to $150) — Approximate Retail Value (ARV): $500
  • First Prize: One (1) Pair Dexter Bowling Shoes (up to $280) — ARV: $280
  • Second Prize: One (1) Bowling Ball (up to $225) — ARV: $225
  • Third Prize: One (1) Pizza Bowl Certificate — ARV: $60

*Ball drilling not included.

Prize Conditions

  • Winners may choose the listed prize package or the stated cash option.
  • The cash option for each prize will not exceed the ARV listed above.
  • No substitutions, upgrades, exchanges, or negotiations of prizes are permitted.
  • The Club reserves the right to substitute equivalent items of equal or greater value if a listed model is unavailable at the time of order.
  • All prize values are approximate retail values at the time of raffle announcement.
  • Any and all taxes, fees, or additional costs associated with claiming a prize (including drilling of bowling balls) are the sole responsibility of the winner.

6. Claiming Prizes

  • Prizes must be claimed directly from the Strike & Spare Club.
  • Contact information for prize claim will be provided to winners at the time of notification and posted on the Club website.
  • Winners must make arrangements to pick up prizes within 30 days of notification.
  • If a prize requires ordering (e.g., bowling ball, shoes, or bag), the Club will place the order on behalf of the winner once their selection is confirmed.
  • Delivery times may vary based on supplier availability.
  • The Club will not ship prizes. Winners are responsible for pickup in Columbia, IL, at a location designated by the Club.
  • Unclaimed prizes after 30 days are forfeited with no refund or alternate compensation.

7. Notification of Winners

  • Winners will be announced at the drawing and posted on the Club’s website at https://www.eaglestrikeandspare.club/rolling-into-fall-raffle/.
  • Winners not present will be contacted using the information provided at ticket purchase.
  • If a winner cannot be reached within 7 days of the drawing, the Club reserves the right to contact alternate winners.

8. Limitations and Conditions

  • All raffle entries and prizes are subject to these Official Rules.
  • The Club is not responsible for lost, delayed, misdirected, incomplete, or illegible entries.
  • The Club makes no warranties, expressed or implied, with respect to prizes, and is not responsible for any defect, damage, or injury associated with the use of any prize.
  • By accepting a prize, winners agree to hold harmless the Strike & Spare Club, its officers, members, sponsors, and volunteers from any liability, loss, or damages arising from participation in the raffle or use of the prize.
  • All decisions by the Club regarding eligibility, ticket validity, winner selection, and prize distribution are final and binding. No disputes, challenges, or appeals will be considered.

9. General Provisions

  • The raffle is void where prohibited by law.
  • The Club reserves the right to cancel, suspend, or modify the raffle if unforeseen circumstances prevent proper operation, with prior notice posted to the website.
  • Entry into the raffle constitutes consent for the Club to use the winner’s name and likeness for promotional purposes without additional compensation, unless prohibited by law.

10. Governing Law

  • This raffle shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Illinois.
  • Any disputes shall be resolved exclusively in the courts of Monroe County, Illinois.
